See the pictures of a Holland RFID Carrier being used to lift equipment to help stop the BP oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico.  This Holland RFID Carrier contains an HF RFID tag and is affixed to an ROV hook.  In such a configuration, it is exposed to abrasion, impact, salt spray, pressure and chemicals.   Real world test with real world success!
